Quick Search is the fastest way to search the web and your apps.

Just type your query and press enter to search Google. Search websites directly by starting your search with the name off the site you want to search. Some of the sites you can search directly:

- Google Images
- Bing Images
- Duck Duck Go Images
(Just type "images of" before your query to see images from your default search engine.)

- Wikipedia
- Vimeo
- Youtube
- Wolfram Alpha
- 500px
- Soundcloud
- Stack Overflow
- Wirecutter
- Amazon

Search other search engines without changing your default search provider. Just type the search engine you want to use before your query. e.g. "Bing cats" will search Bing for cats.

Search your favourite apps by typing your query and then tapping on the icon of the app you want to search. Apps you can search:
- 1Password
- App Store
- Fantastical
- Google Maps
- IMDb
- Apple Maps
- Spotify
- Tweetbot
- Twitter
- Waze
- Wolfram Alpha
- Wunderlist

How Quick Search Works:
You type in your query and then press "Go" or tap on one of the 4 icons below the search box. If you do a web search, it will launch Safari and take you to your search results. Why does Quick Search send you to Safari? There are a number of reasons:

- Your search results are part of your Safari history. (So if you found a really great web page but forgot to save it, you’re not looking in multiple web browser histories for the site.)
- You don’t need to sign into sites again.
- If you have an ad blocker, it will block ads.

Why should you use Quick Search instead of going directly to Safari? Quick Search is faster and more convenient. Its your search hub.
